I live in Ogembo in Kenya. You can see the orphans’ quarters in the picture. Half of that space is for our sleeping. My teachers say that I am very smart. I love school! I am in standard 5.  

Primary education takes 8 years in Kenya (standards 1 to 8). We start school at 6 years old. If we can finish, then at 14 we can go to secondary school. 

It was so difficult to be out of school, because we do not have enough schillings for our fees. I am hoping for support. I sat for the exam. I have been out of school this year. I am in position 5 out of 33 students. I pray you will help me.
